For several years I’ve been working as a Business Analyst, and most of my experiences is gathering, analyzing the requirements and performing UAT. I truly enjoy working with Business stakeholders & testers throughout the SDLC…
In my current project, I’m not only responsible for UAT, I’m also accountable for RTM as well as TTM which helped to assist in creation of Test Plan.
I was part of full Test Life Cycle (TLC) to create or validating Test plan, Test scenarios, Test Cases & Test scripts for each phase/step… such as Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, Smoke Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Being a Business Analyst took an opportunity to analyze the requirements from data prospective and also responsible for providing test data by extracting the data from database if required.
Since I’m accountable for, conducting Performance testing, Smoke testing and Performing UAT on behalf of Business Stake holders, I always ensure the following…
- We have new environment for UAT – which is separated from other testing environments
- We have to be very clear about the acceptance criteria for each requirement
- Need to understand process to manage change requests.
- Not recommended to performing teasing by functional testers
I’m self motivated, discipline and focused, one of my greatest strength is to identify the defects and presenting them during issue log meetings.
FYI… Interview is all about Batch Processing.
Explanation on Batch Processing: Batch processing is defined as series of jobs or executions without any human intervention until job is competed. In other ways, series of data inflow until application reaches certain cap or level.
An example for you: The way Construction Organizations do the payment to the Vendors. The vendors does not receive a payment for each bill they claim, but one monthly bill for all of that month.
